We assist local governments with the preparation of ADA transition plans, primarily focusing on architectural accessibility of facilities. This includes both site and building analysis, and can also include addressing ADA title one employment issues for the city. For example, we work with the city to find a reasonable accommodation in the workplace when an employee with a disability requests a modification. This mechanism is available through the ADA. In municipality ADA compliance, we review everything and determine how best to serve the individual’s needs.

We also provide consulting on Community Development Block Grants (CDBG). When local agencies apply for these funds, part of the process requires that the organization be ADA compliant. We provide a site analysis, as needed, and application assistance. Think of us as a trusted advisor.
